Menu Plan for Week of Nov 6, 2011

It’s still blustery and cold here, so I’ve moved the pot roast chili (we didn’t get to this last week) up in priority.  I like a big pot of this which is spicy and savory, a bit of a surprise if you’re used to the plainer tasting traditional pot roast.  I’m also making a batch of sweet and spicy pecans for guests that are dropping by later in the week.

Breakfasts: Healthy oat and banana bars, scrambled eggs
Lunches: Leftovers
Treats: Sweet and spicy pecans

Dinners:
Sunday: Pot roast chili, steamed greens, brown rice

Monday: Leftover chili, apple and greens salad

Tuesday: Mustard chicken, coconut roasted sweet potatoes, broccoli

Wednesday: Healthy goulash, sliced cucumbers

Thursday: out

Friday: Moroccan chicken stew, green salad

Saturday: Leftover chicken stew, healthy mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts
