Menu Plan for the Week of Oct 30, 2011

The weather here is blustery and cold, so I’m planning on warming dishes like peanut butter baked oatmeal, and coq au vin.  I’m also reformulating the pot roast chili which is one of my husband’s favorites. I’ll serve that with pumpkin custard for a nice autumn meal.

Breakfasts: Peanut butter baked oatmeal, boiled eggs
Lunches: Leftovers
Treats: Pumpkin custard

Dinners:
Sunday:  Cheater’s coq au vin, mashed potatoes

Monday: Leftover coq au vin, apple and greens salad

Tuesday: Mexican rice bowls, avocado and tomato

Wednesday: Salmon patties, steamed brocoli, sliced tomatoes

Thurs: out

Friday: Pot roast chili, steamed greens

Saturday: Leftover chili, Bulgarian salad
