Menu Plan for Week of August 28, 2011

This week’s menu will feature one of the early recipes that I posted on this site, my healthy hamburger stew, made healthier with the inclusion of a lot of vegetables.  I may try to make it with some chipotle chilis for a spicier stew.  I’m also making a batch of healthy oat and banana bars which has been by far the most popular recipe here.

Breakfasts: Boiled eggs, healthy oat and banana bars
Lunches: Leftovers, nectarines

Dinners:
Sunday: Healthy hamburger stew, salad

Monday: Leftover stew, garlic and cheese biscuits, fruit and greens salad

Tuesday: Salmon cakes, sauteed kale, Bulgarian salad

Wed-Thur: out

Friday: Cabbage and sausage skillet, mashed potatoes, salad

Saturday: Lamb meatza, green salad

your menu looks good! its always great to be able to carry ove a meal for leftovers. we rarely have leftovers here
