Menu Plan for Week of July 25, 2010

Our favorite meal of last week was the Thai red curry that I made with beef.  I spiced it up a lot with extra curry paste and slivered basil.  This week, we I picked up peaches and avocados from the market as well as fresh ground turkey. I also just got an immersion blender for purees, soups, dips, and homemade mayo. If you have any recipes to recommend let me know.

Breakfast: Spinach and artichoke frittata, peaches
Lunches: Chopped salad w/ sardines, leftovers

Dinners:
Sunday: Meatballs in simple sauce, sauteed cabbage, sweet potatoes

Monday:
Leftover meatballs in puttanesca sauce, zucchini, apple ginger coleslaw

Tuesday: Mexican rice bowls, avocado and tomato salad

Wednesday:
Simmered drumsticks, collard greens, tomato salad

Thursday:
out

Friday:
Sirloin steak, broccoli and tomato salad, strawberry coconut ice cream

Saturday: Indonesian spicy rice made with leftover steak and cauliflower, bok choy, peaches
