Some Financial Perspective
I was debating between writing a post on affordable seasonal root vegetables or a post on how to save money with online orders and delivery. However, after watching the news the last couple of days and seeing the devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti, those topics seemed rather trivial. Although it is sad to see the ruins and suffering, I find it encouraging that so many people are generous and have donated, texted, and volunteered. One of the benefits of spending less than you earn is the ability to have something leftover to give. For those who are able and want to donate, I’ve placed some links below. Previously, I had posted on frugal giving, or ways to be involved for the cash-constrained. Feel free to leave suggestions for other organizations in the comments.

Prudent Homemaker, thanks for the link.
FINCA and Church World Service are 2 more really good organizations that will use the money well.
