Menu Plan for Week of August 23, 2009

I have felt like I’m in a cooking rut lately.  It’s hard to explain but it seems to me that I’m serving the same meals over and over again.  Although I haven’t heard any complaints, I think I would like to try out more new and slightly adventurous recipes. I’m open to suggestions.

Breakfasts: Healthy oatmeal bars, fresh melon, boiled eggs
Lunches: leftovers, sandwich alternatives, red grapes

Dinners:
Sunday: Fish tacos, aztec vegetables, 3-bean salad

Monday: Super simple fish, sauteed spinach, rice salad

Tuesday: Mushrooms and chickpeas, sauteed cabbage, brown rice, summer fruit salad

Wednesday: Carnitas tacos, aztec vegetables, avocado and tomato relish, agua fresca

Thursday: out

Friday: Enchilada stacks w/ leftover carnitas and refried beans, broccoli and tomato salad, fresh fruit

Saturday: Vegetable and white bean soup, quesadillas, grilled fruit
