Hi Sally, another vote for more personal stories. As I had previously mentioned, shortly after beginning this blog, the hubby accidentally revealed the blog to my father in-law who started asking if we were having money troubles. It made me a little shy to blog about a lot of personal money and frugality issues. Hopefully, that hesitation has passed. I definitely have been trying to shift to more personal stories and anecdotes. Thanks so much for commenting.

Hi, I just discovered your blog - I'm reading through the archives - and I would like to see more personal stories about food, frugality, etc. You have a lovely writing voice.

Elizabeth - I'm also a relatively new reader (since the interview with Jacob) and I too would like to see more blogging about investments and how you make a living without a 9-5 job. Thanks.

Hi Kyle, thanks for the suggestions and for trying out the recipes! I do plan more introspective types of posts that deal with the psychological, social, and emotional elements of trying to move to a simpler lifestyle. I think that too many recommendations on frugal living tend to neglect reflecting on the mental challenges. Thanks for commenting.

Hi, I've tried a bunch of your healthy-and-frugal recipes, and they're great! More, please. I also like the way the recipes fit together with what you say about lifestyle and finances. Maybe you could write about how these can reinforce how people think about their lives as they are working to change them. Thanks!

Hi Courtney, I would also love to see pictures. I planned all along to have photos of the finished recipes, but, even with my high mega-pixel digital camera, I haven't been pleased with the results. I need to do some more experimenting. Hopefully, pictures will be added in several weeks. And, thanks very much for testing some of the recipes and posting about it. I love feedback like that.

Julie, I definitely plan to write more personal anecdotes, both on my own investment experience, and on frugal, simpler living. I have struggled a bit to find the voice that I want to blog in for the financially related post, but I'm gravitating toward weaving in more personal stories and observations. Thanks for the kind words on the blog. Sometimes I think covering both food/healthy living and personal finance means this is really two blogs in one. I hope to tie those together a bit more by involving more personal commentary.

Thanks so much to both of you for reading and commenting.

Hi Elizabeth. I'm a relative newcomer to your blog and it's quickly become one of my very favourite reads. I'm interested in investing, frugality and health/wellbeing/food and you combine these diverse matters beautifully. I really enjoy your writing style and your kind and gentle approach. If I had to pick two subject areas for you to write further on, I'd select approaches to investment and personal anecdotes about frugality - the former as I'm keen to learn more and the latter because stories of people living more simply is inspiring and makes one feel less alone in one's own efforts. Mostly, though, just keep on doing what you're doing - your blog is wonderful!
Hope your Sunday is well..
